It helps to start with lots of matches in the bottom rows.
So if you have plenty of lives, don't be afraid to quit and try again without starting to play if you don't get any matches with the Pet carriers.
Try to build up the booster balloons quickly by making large matches, or (if you're lucky to have them drop) set off bombs.
Three bombs will build up the booster.
At first, when choosing which color to remove with your balloon try to get the one that has the most blocks/pet carriers of it's color in the bottom two rows.
Later in the level concentrate on any color that is directly under a carrier that still needs to drop and smash glass.
